Advocating for Youth Health Through Climate Action


Participated as a youth speaker and Our Children's Trust Climate Corps Coordinator from Wisconsin in a meeting with Senator Tammy Baldwin’s staff, advocating for children’s climate rights and the Children’s Fundamental Rights to Life & Stable Climate System resolution. Shared personal stories about involvement in the youth climate movement and contributed to a youth-led policy discussion calling for congressional action on climate and youth health.


Presented YouthGen Health’s mission and youth-led health initiatives to the La Crosse Lions Club Charities, highlighting the importance of improving health education and access in local communities. Discussed opportunities to expand youth health programs that empower young people to become health advocates.

Community Health, Advocacy and Outreach


Supported youth health by advancing climate-focused policy initiatives that reduce environmental risks to physical and mental well-being. Advocated for federal climate action by contacting Representative Mark Pocan in support of the Children’s Right to Life and a Stable Climate System Resolution. Representative Pocan subsequently became a cosponsor of the resolution, which recognizes the government’s responsibility to protect children’s rights to a safe and livable future.

Protecting Youth Health Through Environmental Advocacy


Supported the passage of Gail’s Bill expanding access to breast cancer screening in Wisconsin through advocacy with The Honorable Brad Pfaff, Wisconsin State Senator, and The Honorable Tara Johnson, State Representative. The advocacy highlighted barriers faced by rural and underserved communities, including transportation, cost, and limited access to screening facilities, while encouraging mobile screening services, community partnerships, and culturally responsive health education.
