Engaged in meaningful conversations with Eagle Crest Nursing Home residents who had careers in healthcare, learning about their experiences, perspectives, and contributions to the field.
Explored how youth can make a difference in their communities and discussed ways to promote health, wellness, and a culture of care among young people.

American Red Cross Partnership: Community Blood Drive

Partnered with the American Red Cross to organize a community blood drive, bringing together youth and community members to support an important cause. Encouraged young people to participate, raise awareness about the importance of blood donation, and make a meaningful difference by helping save lives.

Advocating for Youth Health Through Climate Action

Participated as a youth speaker and Our Children's Trust Climate Corps Coordinator from Wisconsin in a meeting with Senator Tammy Baldwin’s staff, advocating for children’s climate rights and the Children’s Fundamental Rights to Life & Stable Climate System resolution. Shared my personal story about involvement in the youth climate movement and contributed to a youth-led policy discussion calling for congressional action on climate and youth health.

Community Health Advocacy and Outreach

Iron Deficiency Anemia (IDA) presentation delivered at Onalaska High School, Wisconsin to educate students about the causes, signs and symptoms, prevention, and treatment of iron deficiency anemia, while promoting healthy nutrition and awareness of overall wellness.

Conducted vision screenings for youth as part of a community health initiative, promoting early detection, educating young people about the importance of eye health, and connecting families with appropriate eye care resources. Through health education, helped youth recognize health concerns early and make informed decisions about their well-being.

Wellness Workshops for Youth

Presented YouthGen Health’s mission and youth-led health initiatives to the La Crosse Lions Club Charities, highlighting the importance of improving health education and access in local communities. Discussed opportunities to expand youth health programs that empower young people to become health advocates.
